Lancée en janvier, la nouvelle gamme de Cartes Mères AORUS Gaming Gigabyte est compatibles avec les processeurs Intel^® de 7^ème et 6^ème génération. L'objectif affiché, un haut niveau de customisation et de personnalisation assurant compatibilité optimale de votre système aussi bien sur le plan d'un éventuel refroidissement liquide que de la gestion avancée des LEDs RGB installées, du contrôle total sur chacun des ventilateurs connectés etc. Il s'agit d'aller sur les chemins classiques de l'overclocking et du look et clairement pas de s'adresser au marché bureautique.

Le modèle Gaming 5 ressemble beaucoup à la version 7 sortie plus tôt mais à un coût raisonnable en réduisant un peu les capacités audio et en se séparant du ThunderBolt chip. Mais pas d'inquiétude car un satisfaisant Realtek ALC 1220 épaulé par la suite Sound Blaster X-Fi MB5 sont présents. Avec un chpset Z270 vous trouverez ici la carte à adopter pour processeur génération 7 Kaby Lake surtout si vous choisissez de la DDR4 rapide.

Pour la partie réseau le choix est proposé entre un Killer E2500 et un connecteur Intel Gigabit LAN. Seul absence notable, le Wifi.
 
Le point mis en avant par le constructeur sur une carte sinon traditionnellz est le système d'éclairage LED le plus avancé du marché: 16.8M RGB Colors

Il est ainsi possible de personnaliser les différentes zones de leur carte mère (brillance et vibrance des LEDs) voire de configurer les Leds pour s'adapter à la température et charge du PC. Les adeptes du custom sapin de Noël pourrons ajouter leurs propres bandes lumineuses RGBW pour appuyer la luminosité de leur système.  

Une face arrière complète pour 99% des utilisations

En dehors du critère esthétique, la carte mère ne révèle pas de faiblesse au niveau des températures et seul le Wifi pourrait se justifier tout comme des ports Ethernet 10Gb. Mais à l'heure actuelle un bon et complet bios pour overclocker, l'USB 3.1 sont en dehors du bling-bling diode la seule nouveauté. Peut-être que la surprise espérée cette année chez AMD relancera t-elle des nouveautés plus substantielles.

En attendant pour 180€ voici une carte complète et solide, c'est le plus important après tout.
